Aerobrick is a UCD Aerobrick Team comprised of students who work throughout the school year to design and build a heavy lift R/C airplane. The plane is designed to lift about 5 times its own empty weight and must meet certain design restrictions determined by the SAE Aero design West Competition. In March the team will competes against other Universities from other states and nations to lift the heaviest payload. Aerobrick gives students practical engineering experience in the design, construction and testing of model aircraft.




Apple Community at UC Davis

Apple Community at UC Davis is a group dedicated to connecting all levels of personnel at UC Davis with the Apple products and service they love.




Botany Club

The Botany Club at UC Davis is a plant-oriented club aimed at increasing education opportunities in plant-related fields for undergraduates. The club organizes exploratory field trips, outings to plant shows or exhibits and other plant-related activities. Speakers are invited to meetings to talk about plant-related topics and timely environmental issues




Computer Science Club (CS Club)

The purpose of this organization includes: a. A forum for the interaction of members. b. Promotion of the computer sciences. c. A conduit for faculty-student interaction. e. Fund raising to support all of the Club's purposes.




CRD Student Salon (CRDSS)

Community and Regional Development Student Salon (CRDSS) will compliment the various interests and focuses of the CRD with speakers, discussions, field trips, readings and service work. It will be driven by the interests of the members and by the trends and movements of the larger community development field. We welcome students not only from CRD but students with an interest in cultivating a deeper understanding of Community Development, in its many forms.

The Davis College Democrats aim to educate the voting population, deflate youth apathy, foster student leadership, and work towards the betterment of our society. A student with an interest in learning more about the US Government, the Democratic Part, or the political universe will find that information in this organization. DCD also demonstrates a strong ability to provide opportunities for those wishing to become more involved, from campaign work to community service to lobbying on behalf of student issues. In accomplishing these tasks, students receive numerous opportunities to have one-on-one conversations with high-ranking government officials. As the official wing of the Democratic Party to students at UC Davis, we work to promote Democratic ideals and candidates.

The Davis College Republicans represent conservative values on an otherwise liberal campus. DCR hosts conservative speakers, gives weekly takes on national/international political situations, and provides a social network for conservative students. Club members attend conventions and rallies across the state to meet other like minded individuals and strengthen the conservative movement. In addition to on campus events we work with local politicians and members of the Republican party to help Republican candidates. Dead Arts Society (DAS) (The)

We are a performing arts club that welcomes everyone irregardless of previous skills level or experience, all you need is an interest. We perform only original pieces of student composed work. We have three different areas of focus: theater, dance and music. Students may join to create the material we perform and/or perform in it. We will put on at least one performance every quarter depending on what we have to present.

The purpose of this group is to unite students who are interested in helping or working on a dental brigade. This club provides information on how to join upcoming dental brigades, how to advertise and recruit for existing dental brigade, and how to organize their won dental brigade.




Diversity Coalition

This coalition recognizes the need for students at King Hall to promote greater representation of students in law school from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds. The Coalition seeks to address problems that may arise in the application process for students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.




Education Student Interest Group (EDSIG)

EdSIG is an interest group that weeks to provide medical students with the opportunity to explore different aspects of education in the context of medicine. Activities will focus on careers in academic medicine, patient education, community outreach, and education theory and pedagogy.




Electronic Music for Change (EMC)

We are a group of students and electronic music enthusiast who strive to use electronic music as a vehicle for social by donating all proceeds acquired from our concerts and charity events to local children’s hospitals.




Environmental & Water Resource Institute Student Chapter at UC Davis

\To promote the sustainable use, conservation and protection of environmental resource such as water. To orientate and prime the next generation of professionals in their knowledge of current water related issues and scientific explorations in preparation for careers in water resource related fields; especially with regard to technical expertise and public policy for creating ingenuities and environmentally sustainable solutions.

The Environmental Toxicology Club is a social and educational organization sponsored by the Department of Environmental Toxicology at UC Davis. The club welcomes all students interested in the environmental sciences, regardless of major. In addition to meetings and social and service activities, the club sponsors events for students to learn about environmental toxicology and interact with faculty and alums. The club also provides a forum for students to learn about job and internship opportunities and participate in career development workshops.

FMIG meetings provide rare opportunities for medical students of all class levels to: Provide information about and support medical student’s interest in Family Medicine. Provide opportunities for hands-on workshops, such as phlebotomy, suturing, women’s health procedures and casting. Meet and share experiences in local and international physicians setting.




Federalist Society at King Hall

Want to meet Supreme Court justices? Want to see your professors debate scholars, judges, and attorneys from around the country? The Federalist Society is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. To that end, we recruit speakers with viewpoints you'll never hear at King Hall and expose you to ideas you didn't know existed. They debate professors over lunch.

This club provides enthusiatic students of UC Davis an environment in which they can familiarize themselves with both the technical and interpersonal aspects of the business world. They can expect to gain knowledge in the areas of investments, portofolio struction, finance, accounting, and interview preparateion, while working in teams and building lasting relationships.




Food Animal Medicine and Reproduction (FARM) Club

FARM Club exists to provide extracurricular learning and networking opportunities for students interested in production medicine. Webelieve in providing utmost care for animals, while working to ensure a healthy, wholesome and safe food supply to benefit the world. We have the unique responsibility to bring sound scientific evidence to our future clients and to educate the consuming public about the food they eat. This mission begins in school and continues throughout our careers as food animal practitioners.

Our mission is to promote fuel efficient driving and educate the student body on issues of sustainable transportation. In California, over 40% of greenhouse gas emissions come from the transportation sector - 10% higher than the national average. Despite aggressive air quality standards in the state, we believe grassroot efforts like the Hypermile Club can spur the behavior-changing dialogue necessary to curb greenhouse gas emissions.




I Heart Justice

The I Heart Club aims to spread awareness and to fight all types of injustice and discrimination occurring in the world today. We will have a main project each year; in which we will put forth all of our resources and energy toward that specific issue for that year. Our project this year is focused on North Korea; North Korea is currently under a totalitarian administration and the people of North Korea are under oppressive rule. Because of this, the people of North Korea face human trafficking, abuse, poverty and starvation. We will be addressing these issues through the various events we host, and ultimately we hope to garner more support with the continual growth of our club.

IRSA provides a source of information for those interested in international affairs. Invisible Children

By joining the international organization of Invisible Children, we strive to help end the conflict in Northern Uganda through fundraising and participating in the Schools program.




King Hall Book Club (KHBC)

King Hall Book Club serves to promote the reading of books and literature outside the assigned law school curriculum. It serves as a forum to promote the discussion of books, recommendations and reviews, and generally foster a love for reading for pleasure and quest for knowledge beyond legal coursework.




King Hall Families

Founded in 2007, a King Hall family provides a community for families and a forum for family issues at King Hall. Our mission is to build a support network for student- parents, foster a family- presence at King Hall and promote family issues within the legal community at large.




Law School Democrats at UC Davis School of Law

Support Democratic campaigns and candidates, ensure that every voter can cast a ballot and every ballot is counted, provide legal assistance to Democratic campaigns and connect law students and attorneys interested in Democratic politics.




Ling Club

The Ling Club will provide a weekly tutoring session for Linguistics majors. It will also hold meeting to discuss general interest topics (sociolinguistics, syntax, etc…)




Lux Nova Literary Magazine

The purpose of Lux Nova Literary Magazine is to serve both as an eclectic, cross cultural, and multimedia venue for artistic expression (poetry, prose, short stories, essays, graphic design, and visual art) as well as a revenue source for the Davis Camus Kiva micro-finance fund.

Music Club at UC Davis

The Music Club at UC Davis is a club designed for music lovers: people who look beyond the song and look to analyze the depth and meaning behind the lyrics and melody. The club seeks to bring together said music lovers to facilitate discussion of quality music, the relativity of music taste, and general history and trivia of music. We have here to provide an environment for students to explore their interest in the Ob/Gyn specialty and related subspecialties. Our goal is to not only promote education on campus, but reach out to the Sacramento community through projects that educate women on accessing women’s health resources, in addition to promoting proper women’s health practices among at risk teens.

We address our goals dynamically by: 1) hosting free lunches and workshops for the public, 2) crafting educational placards and posting them and being a forum for the university’s research through our garden practice and posters, 3)intensively planting and caring for the garden, using artistic designs and 4) operating as a smooth, well managed project. We bring the farm to the people.

Scabbard and Blade is a joint service honor society that unites cadets and midshipmen form all over the country in military excellence. The society strives to better these cadets and midshipmen as future officers and to strengthen the joint service relationship through service to the community and leadership within our military departments and throughout our Society, encourage and foster the essential qualities of good and efficient officers, and Promote friendship and good fellowship among the cadet officers.

Salud es Vida

The main objective of our project is to educate the Latin@/Chican@ population by promoting awareness. Our objective is to safeguard the health of the low income families by informing them how to prevent disease, how to take better care of themselves- and most importantly their children. Also, we will talk about the beneficial factors one receives from cooking traditional meals. Most importantly we will do all of this by creating a family environment where one will feel very comfortable and welcomed. We will use a variety of techniques to present health-related themes in a way that is both informative and relevant - like acting, having plays and skits through our “teatro.”

Society for Conservation Biology at UC Davis

The Davis Chapter of the Society of Conservation Biology (SCB Davis) is dedicated to the promotion of conservation-related education, practice, and policy. We provide education through programs such as WIDSI (Watch It. Don’t Squash It), the Conservation Seminar Series, the Bay Area Conservation Biology Symposium, and outreach at public events. We promote conservation practice through community conservation and volunteerism, campus sustainability efforts and work with our sister chapter in La Paz Bolivia. We make contributions to understanding of conservation policy through researching current conservation issues and organizing election proposition discussions.

The SOLD Project: UC Davis is a chapter of The SOLD Project organization which is dedicated to inspiring and empowering individuals to stop child prostitution before it begins. The SOLD Project is a film and a movement. The purpose of the film is to tell the stories of children whose lives have been affected by prostitution. The purpose of the organization is to prevent the buying and selling of children by providing scholarships to children at risk. The SOLD Project also seeks to support our partner organization in Thailand that work in the areas of rescue and rehabilitation for children at-risk. The SOLD Project believes that we, as college students, are a generation hungry for social justice and full of the passion and resource to create change. We are confident that the power this generation possesses will make a lasting impact on this issue worldwide.




Speech-Language Pathology Club

The Speech-Language Pathology Club was created for any UC Davis undergraduate interested in pursuing a career in speech therapy. Meetings provide a place for future Speech-Language Pathologists to congregate, discuss career goals, and learn about different graduate programs. The recently started shadowing program enables students to shadow and intern with local speech therapists for transcript notation.

STAND is a non-profit student coalition against genocide and mass atrocities. We work to educate the campus and public about major human rights violations worldwide, raise money to relieve the victims of such crises, and lobby state and national governmental officials to encourage them to take action to resolve the crises. Our current focus is on Sudan (especially the Darfur region), Burma, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Sri Lanka.

We are a student chapter of the Wildlife Society. We go on field trips and attend conferences, while still promoting professional development of our students and helping to prepare them for careers in wildlife biology and related fields.
